โ What is Secure Boot?
Secure Boot is a security feature in your computerโs BIOS/UEFI that helps protect your system from unauthorized software. However, it can sometimes block advanced tools like QMZ Services.
๐ How to Check Secure Boot Status
Press Windows + R, type
msinfo32
, and hit Enter.In the System Information window, look for Secure Boot State.
If it says Off/Disabled โ youโre all set! โ
If it says On/Enabled โ follow the steps below to disable it. โ
๐ ๏ธ How to Disable Secure Boot
Restart your PC and enter BIOS/UEFI settings. (Usually by pressing F2, F10, DEL, or ESC during startup โ check your screen for the right key!) ๐
Find the Secure Boot option (usually under โBootโ or โSecurityโ tab).
Set Secure Boot to Disabled.
Save changes and exit BIOS/UEFI (usually F10).
Boot back into Windows and check the status again.
โ Troubleshooting
Canโt find the option? Check your motherboard or laptop manual, or search โ[your PC model] disable Secure Bootโ online.
Some systems may require you to set a supervisor/admin password in BIOS before you can change Secure Boot settings.
If youโre dual-booting with Linux, disabling Secure Boot may be required for some distributions.
