❓ What is Hyper-V?

🔍 How to Check if Hyper-V is Enabled

  1. Press Windows + R, type optionalfeatures, and hit Enter.

  2. In the Windows Features window, look for Hyper-V.

    • If it’s unchecked – you’re good to go! ✅

    • If it’s checked – follow the steps below to disable it. ❌


🛠️ How to Disable Hyper-V

Method 1: Windows Features

  1. Open the Windows Features window (optionalfeatures).

  2. Uncheck Hyper-V.

  3. Click OK and restart your PC.

Method 2: Command Prompt

  1. Open Command Prompt as administrator (search “cmd”, right-click, Run as administrator).

  2. Type this command and press Enter: dism.exe /Online /Disable-Feature:Microsoft-Hyper-V-All

  3. Restart your PC.

  • Still seeing issues? Make sure Virtual Machine Platform and Windows Hypervisor Platform are also unchecked in Windows Features.
